FINCHLEY

A roof terrace was created on top of a basement swimming pool. Structural and weight loading issues were considered.  The design took account of the glass panels that let light in below.

Depth of soil was limited so Acers were planted into cor-ten steel containers and surrounded with Box hedging.  This was echoed in the front garden.

The terrace has lighting and irrigation.
